When should you call the doctor? Isn't that the age old question?
I know when my kids were younger...I practically had a full blown anxiety attack over this very thing!
I thought it would make a good editorial topic and piece.
BIG CITY HERE I COME!!!
Every year...people pack it up for the big city to pursue their dreams! I thought this would make a great
illustration for just such a piece in a editorial magazine. The buildings are made from cardboard. Each
windowpane was cut out by hand using an exacto knife and glued to the building itself. Afterwards it
received a paint job and wha la.....
This illustration was sculpted with Sculpey clay, which is really soft and has vibrant colors. I lined
the inside of the flower pot with fabric and finished this illustration in Photoshop.
I made this SPRAY CAN out of a water bottle. I sculpted clay around it and even made the nozzle for it by
hand. I designed the "ANTI-ANT" label and printed out & glued it to the can. The hand is also sculpted and
bendable. The ants were made out of resin and wire, then painted.
Here's a CLOSE UP of the money I created for the mock up article on food cost.
SOARING FOOD COST
I did this little mock up article for the MONEY I created. I thought it was something that should be in an
editorial piece. I had fun making the coins...with their ridges and carved our denomination. Both the stack
of paper money, as well as, the coins were all made out of cardboard. The coins were sculpted and then they
both got paint.
This Typewriter is just so CoOL! I had to put it in the editorial section, because it was just
fitting. This typerwriter was made from cardboard, bottle caps and painted in flat black paint.
